Remember, this is an argumentative essay. Your purpose is to argue for the seriousness of the problem, in order to convince the readers of the necessity of a solution. Your conclusion can reiterate the thesis, synthesizing the main points, while ending in a preview of a tentative solution, as the solution will not be developed fully until the final paper.
