Week 2 Discussion – Looking at Job Postings
Please respond to the following in a substantive post (3-4 paragraphs):
Research job postings in your area of concentration for your degree, and identify one job that interest you. Copy and paste the link to the job posting. Make sure it is a persistent link that the reader can just click to be taken to the actual posting.
In 1-2 paragraphs, describe the requirements for the job you found and talk about the knowledge, skills, and abilities you already have that you could use to get the job and what you need to add to your resume or practice before you qualify for the job.
Discuss the role certification plays in your job search or quest for promotion. If your company closed or downsized and you suddenly found yourself without a job, what certifications would you need to get a comparable job?
Please respond substantively to at least one other post (1-2 paragraphs each post). Choose to respond to those who have few or no responses, as well as interesting conversations you want to join.
