Hello everyone,
My name is , and I am currently an RN with my BSN, working on a Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU). I have been a nurse for seven years now and I am excited to continue my educational journey. 
How do you see yourself applying knowledge from this course?
I’ll be able to apply what I learned from the APRN course in multiple ways. My first priority is to provide high-quality, patient-centered care, ensuring that the best outcomes are achieved for my patients. I also plan to advocate for better patient care and safety using my enhanced understanding of healthcare systems and policies. I want to contribute to a more cohesive and effective healthcare team by integrating leadership and inter-professional collaboration skills.
What would you say is your dominant leadership style?
My dominant leadership style is transformational leadership.  “Understanding how leadership-related styles and behaviors may affect patient satisfaction is necessary for meeting present US health care goals for care delivery, quality, and reimbursement” (McCay et al., 2018).
What evidence leads you to this conclusion?
As an individual and as a member of a team, I believe this because I continuously strive to inspire and motivate my colleagues to achieve their very best, both individually and as a team. As an organizational leader, it is my responsibility to foster a positive and supportive work environment, to promote professional development, and to promote a spirit of inquiry within the organization. My peers and supervisors have often complimented me on my ability to set a good example, communicate a clear vision, and support others in the development and growth of their careers. There are several aspects of transformational leadership that align well with the principles of inspiring and empowering others to reach their full potential, which emphasizes inspiring and empowering others to do the same.
