Go to a credible news outlet and choose a current event article that you are interested in. (The current event must be from 2020 to the present and related to topics covered in this course). Choose two of the three sociological theoretical frameworks (functionalism, symbolic interactionism, and conflict theory).
Write

2. What is your opinion about this article? (3-5 sentences)
-Explain whether the article raises any questions and/or concerns for you. -What do you think the author’s purpose was for writing the article?
3. Apply two theoretical perspectives to the article (8-10 sentences)
-Define each of the two theoretical perspectives. -Compare and contrast how each of the two theoretical perspectives applies to the current event. 4.Include the URL link for the current event article at the end of your post.
