Risk Management
Risk management may be a separate department in large health care organizations. In smaller organizations, risk management may be part of the compliance department, or within the compliance officer’s purview. Risk management tends to focus on an organization’s internal policies and procedures.
Consider the compliance topic that you chose for this class. Determine two to three possible risk management issues related to that topic. Suggest the types of internal policies or procedures that might be needed to manage or control your topic choice. Provide real world examples from the literature supporting your points.
