Review Essay 2 Guideline:• This assignment requires you to undertake a short literature review and prepare a research proposal outline on the topic of ‘Human Rights & Vulnerable Populations’
You must review atleast 2 academic books and 8 academic journal articles ((Graduate students. The length of your review essay will approximately 2000- 2500 words maximum). You cannot use the sources provided in the course syllabi and must undertake additional research.•
Research Question: After undertaking a review you must articulate a clear research question that you seek to pursue on this topic. You must provide some context and relevance to your research question.
• Case Study: You should be able to identify which vulnerable population is your area of focus and explain clearly the reasons for selection of this case study with the help of academic sources.
• You must provide an annotated bibliography. An annotated bibliography will provide a short description of how the selected article or book is relevant to your research topic. It will provide an explanation of some key arguments from the article and book. This description must be provided with regard to each of the sources that you will be using.
• This short review essay must demonstrate your ability to do some independent research using academic sources. It must demonstrate your ability to write a research question and identify existing scholarship on this topic. The annotated bibliography should demonstrate your ability to grasp some of the existing debates and issues among scholars on the topic of “ Human Rights & Vulnerable Populations’. The emphasis will be on content, organization and research.
• The assignment must be submitted on Canvas on October 17, 2023 (Tuesday). Please bring in-person a stapled hard copy with cover page including name, student number, date and course number to class too.
