Overview: For this paper you will be required to

Analyze and compare the leading causes of death for two different
countries
●
Clearly define the social and structural determinants of one leading
cause of death for each country with the same age group
● Compare
and contrast the top 3 leading causes of death between the two countries
Each person must choose:
●
Two different countries from two different continents (You cannot choose the United States)
●
One country should be classified as ‘high income’ or ‘upper-middle
income’ and one country should be classified as ‘Low income’ or ‘low middle
income.’
●
One age group – same for both countries
● Choose
one leading cause of mortality for
each country
You
can begin by using the World Health Global Health Estimates, life expectancy
and leading causes of death and disability website to get started. https://www.who.int/data/gho/data/themes/mortality-and-global-health-estimates
