I am having writers’s block and need help with a college application essay. some of my interests and background:
I have a multicultural and multiracial background with exposure to a wide range of philosophies and ideas. My interests and skillsets are diverse—strong in STEM yet also with a lifelong inherent interest and devotion to digital art and design.
I want to pursue majors that focus on interdisciplinary approaches to human biology and health. Some schools have programs in public health and mental health. An ideal program offered by one college offers an interdisciplinary approach to understanding human beings from biological, behavioral, social, and cultural perspectives.
I am excited to use these approaches to improve people’s lives. I believe in art as a positive influence on children’s mental health. So, I created a nonprofit organization to provide care packages and art supplies to disadvantaged children and their families. We raise funds primarily through commissioned art that I create. This effort combines multiple interests: art, public/mental health, and helping people in need.
