My friends and I decided to try a new ride on the GI tract. I am Taco Corn Chip. They are Meat and Cheese. We paid admission to Ms. Lips, who looked good enough to kiss then entered the GI tract. Standing in the big ___ cavity, all around us were strange white things. They really looked like mad scientists in long white coats. We were the juicy specimens.

Just then the thick-muscled ___ platform started to move, pushing us up and down toward the white things, which bit and tore at us like angry ___ . Next, I was squirted with salivary amylase, which came at me through a thin tube then began to get gooey. I grabbed my friends, who also looked gooey then we started moving further back in this cavity. “Wait!” someone shouted, “grab your rain gear off the ___ rack, which hangs down from the roof at the rear of the buccal.”

Now, we are going down the roller coaster called ___ and find ourselves at this strange door marked ___. It slowly opened then we go inside. This ___ room is even stranger. The walls are all draped in ____ folds. Upon our arrival, we take a bath using ___. We can now proceed since we are all cleaned up. My friend Meat is hit with ___, which has him singing, “I am a peppy little ___ and ___ “. Cheese is getting softened up. A big voice announces, “You are no longer who you once were. Your name is now ___.” “Who cares,” I think, “just get me out of here.” A big tidal wave called ___ hits just then, pushing us through the exit marked ___ .

Now, I am really scared because this tube goes on forever. We are in the first part of it, the ___. I look around and see a slit-like opening. Look! Cheese is standing right behind me and gets a big squirt of ___ all over him. He is starting to come apart. At this point, we are being hit with all sorts of stuff that breaks us up into strange parts. I transform into ___. Meat is an ___ and Cheese is ___ and ___. What will become of us? We get pushed again into the next part of the tunnel, the ___ , and our fate is sealed. Awaiting us like a welcome mat are many little fingers called ___. They are now walking right through us, picking us apart. “Good-bye my friends,” I shout, as we get sucked up.

There were some pieces of us leftover. They were just shoved into a bigger tunnel, the ____ , where they were dried out then dumped out through the ____.

RING!! RING!! That’s my alarm clock. Oh, what a nightmare. I should not have stayed up so late studying for my GI test and stuffing myself with tacos and pizza.
