When you exhibit passion as you teach, students respond to that passion. Regarding instruction, what are you passionate about? What topics, concepts, contents do you love to teach? Is there a time during your instructional day you inwardly sigh because you have to STOP teaching a certain subject, standard or unit?
Reflect on the eight passions found in Chapter Two, “The Start of Your Journey.” How many of those passions resonated with you? Are there any that do not interest you?
