Investigate your randomly assigned country, how population health varied by place, time, and macro-level factors varied between the years 1990 and 2010, and make an analysis. Use the following indicators:
Indicator
1. Per Capita GDP & Gini coefficient
6. Life expectancy for males & females
2. Extreme poverty
7. Underweight children
3. Gender ratio of mean years in school
8. Long term female unemployment
4. Literacy rate for youth males & females
9. Corruption Perception Index
5. Child mortality
10. Human Development Index
Look for relevant historic events that might have an influence on the indicators. You MUST prepare a written report (4% of grade) and a PowerPoint Presentation (5% of grade) with a total of 10 slides maximum (can be less than 10 but never more than 10). Submissions account for 3% of the grade. Hence, Submission 3% + Written Report 4% + Presentation 3% = 10%. Each presentation is 10 minutes tops! All assignments and reports must be formatted according to the APA 7th edition style manual. Reports should not exceed 1,500 words or 10 pages (not counting cover page, abstract, appendices, and/or references). For an example, please see this APA sample paper.
