This s scholarship essay. First generation to graduate graduate school. My parents didn’t attend college they only receive highschool diploma and/or GED. I’m the first to go to college and receive bachelors and now in graduate school for my masters. My family did the best they could do considering the time and what was going on in there era. My mother came up poor but managed to still take care of her family and make the best of the situation. Growing up I knew I wanted better and more. I’ve done something that really no one has accomplished in my family. Although my mother didn’t receive a degree but she was able to turn things around and Participate in different work programs until she was able to get in the door of social security administration. Yes I’ve chosen to return to school and very hard to afford and this is why this scholarship would be a great opportunity where I’m able to pay for school and get my masters as planned.
