Writing assignment (min. 500 words). You may choose the subject; however, it must be about a weather-related event that you experienced at some point in your life. You will be graded on 1) following the directions; 2) On time submission; 3) Readability/Spelling/etc. The writing assignment is worth 25 points You can not earn a passing grade in this class without turning in this assignment. Assignments turned in late will be accepted as far as the pass/fail goes, but you will receive a 0/25 grade on the paper if turned in late.
This is a 500 word paper, written by you, about a weather event/situation that YOU experienced. I don’t want to know about the event (such as Wiki information about Hurricane Irma or Ian). I want the story of the weather event from YOUR perspective. There should be VERY little if any need for citing.
The paper must be submitted in one of the following formats: PDF, DOC/DOCX. If you need another format, let me know.

readability (up to 15 points)
having a cover page that has your name, a title, and the word count (5 points)
proper spelling/grammar (use spell-check!!) (5 points)
